#1. Chiefs — It was only a matter of time, right? But can they generate a legit run game? (up from 2nd last week)
#2. Vikings — Before last Sunday a lot of people (myself included) were wondering if the Viks were for real. That overtime thriller in Buffalo answered all my questions. And that catch by Justin Jefferson on 4th and 18... Magic! (up from 3rd last week)
#3. Eagles — The last of the unbeatens has finally fallen. Now they're ready. But if stopping the run is going to be an issue, it's difficult imagining them going very deep in the playoffs. (dn from 1st last week)
#4. Ravens — Fresh off the bye week and ready to begin their playoff push in earnest. We shall see... (same ranking as last week)
#5. 49ers — Finally at full strength, the Niners may be the most complete team in the NFC. (up from 7th last week)
#6. Dolphins — Is there a better offense in the NFL right now? McDaniel was a terrific hire for this franchise. (up from 9th last week)
#7. Bills — Back-to-back losses for the darlings of the preseason prognosticators? The Bills are still a force to be reckoned with. (dn from 5th last week)
#8. Titans — It ain't pretty. But the Titans do the two things needed to win in Dec and Jan extremely well: run the ball and play defense. (up from 13th last week)
#9. Cowboys — Mike McCarthy finds a way to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory... in Lambeau no less. (dn from 6th last week)
#10. Bengals — This is about the time last season when they got hot and went on a Super Bowl run. (same ranking as last week)
#11. Patriots — Run game and defense. Pats keep chugging along. Jets in town this Sunday for a divisional rematch. (same ranking as last week)
#12. Jets — They lost round one to the Rival Pats in the Meadowlands. Their only divisional loss so far this year. This weekend, they'll try to even the score. (same ranking as last week)
#13. Giants — No respect G-men just keep winning. A feisty Lions team flies into Gotham this weekend. It will be interesting to see how the defense handles Goff, St. Brown, and the Swift/Williams backfield. (up from 14th last week)
#14. Seahawks — Wonder if the loss to the Bucs last weekend will send this overachieving team into a tailspin. (dn from 8th last week)
#15. Buccaneers — After all they've endured this season, the NFC South is still theirs for the taking. Amazing. (up from 17th last week)
#16. Commanders — The winning streak continues. Did they really just knock off the unbeaten Eagles on the road? The sky is officially the limit. (up from 21st last week)
#17. Chargers — Big divisional game this Sunday night against the Chiefs. And they may be getting their wide receiving corps back. (dn from 15th last week)
#18. Browns — Fresh off a curb-stomping from the Miami Dolphins, they now face the Buffalo Bills… in a dome. (dn from 16th last week)
#19. Packers — WR Christian Watson starting to look like a top-tier pass catcher. (up from 29th last week)
#20. Panthers — A one-dimensional ground and pound philosophy might be good enough for a win against the Falcons at home. But against the Baltimore Ravens on the road… they might need to pack their aerial attack. (up from 26th last week)
#21. Lions — Two quality wins versus NFC North rivals and the red-hot Lions are off to the Big Apple. Now that Dan Campbell has his first road win out of the way, the sky is the limit. (up from 28th last week)
#22. Saints — Injury-plagued defense is home for the Rams this week… without their star receiver, Cooper Kupp. (dn from 18th last week)
#23. Cardinals — A win does not necessarily preclude a bump in the power rankings… (same ranking as last week)

#25. Jaguars — No shame in losing to the Chiefs at Arrowhead. The nucleus of Lawrence, Etienne, and Kirk has the future looking fairly bright. (dn from 22nd last week)

#27. Steelers — TJ Watt’s presence alone is worth a handful of wins down the stretch. (up from 30th last week)

#29. Broncos — Russell Wilson looks average in Nathaniel Hackett’s offense. (dn from 27th last week)
#30. Colts — New Head Coach Jeff Saturday made the right call when he pulled Matt Ryan off the bench. (up from 31st last week)
#31. Raiders — Wonder if Davante Adams is missing Aaron Rodgers as much as Aaron Rodgers is missing Davante Adams. (dn from 25th last week)
