Warriors vs. Jazz odds, line: 2022 NBA picks, April 2 prediction from proven computer model

The Golden State Warriors will take on the Utah Jazz at 8:30 p.m. ET on Saturday at the Chase Center. The Warriors are 48-29 overall and 29-10 at home, while Utah is 46-31 overall and 19-20 on the road. This will be the fourth and final meeting between the two Western Conference rivals and the Warriors won two of the first three head-to-head matchups. However, there was one win, one draw and one push against the spread in those meetings.

Golden State has lost four games in a row and sits third in the West while Utah is two games back in fifth and trying to earn a top four seed to host a playoff series. Utah is favored by two points in the latest Warriors vs. Jazz odds from Caesars Sportsbook and the over-under is set at 217.5. It was close but no cigar for Golden State as it fell 107-103 to the Phoenix Suns on Wednesday. Shooting guard Klay Thompson had a pretty forgettable game, finishing with 13 points on 5-for-21 shooting in his 33 minutes on the court. However, Jordan Poole had an absolutely massive performance with 38 points, nine rebounds and seven assists.

Poole has become a dynamic scoring option for Golden State and he enters Saturday on a 15-game streak of scoring at least 20 points. With Stephen Curry out indefinitely with a foot injury, the Warriors will need Poole to continue being a scoring threat and they'll also need more out of Thompson to break out of their current funk.

Meanwhile, Utah didn't have too much trouble with the Los Angeles Lakers at home on Thursday as they won 122-109. It was another big night for Utah's center Rudy Gobert, who posted a double-double on 25 points and 17 rebounds. Gobert is averaging 15.4 points, 14.6 rebounds and 2.1 blocks per game this season while shooting a staggering 71.2 percent from the floor.

Golden State suffered a grim 111-85 defeat to the Jazz in the teams' most recent meeting in February. The Jazz held the Warriors to just 35.9 percent shooting from the floor in that win and that was with Curry in the lineup. Bojan Bogdanovic had 23 points to lead the Jazz in the win.

The model has simulated Warriors vs. Jazz 10,000 times and the results are in. We can tell you that the model is leaning over and it's also generated a point-spread pick that is hitting in over 60 percent of simulations. You can only see the pick at CapperTek.
